U.S. Embassy Launches Online Video Contest

November 5, 2012

Vote now in the Untold Stories contest until December 4 at 11:59PM, and help Egyptian heroes win a trip to the U.S.

To vote, visit the U.S. Embassy Facebook page at this link and click on “View Entries”: http://ow.ly/foFZg

The entries in the contest are one-minute films made by Egyptians about people making a difference in their communities.  You can vote once per entry per day.

The winners of the contest and the heroes of their stories will get an all-expenses paid trip to the U.S. for two weeks, including a visit to the Sundance Film Festival and meetings with community organizers, filmmakers, and new media experts.  Winners will be determined through a combination of public voting and judging.  The competition’s judges include Egyptian filmmakers Amr Salama and Mohamed Diab.
