Please note that you do not need an appointment to pick up your passport.


To pick up your passport you may do one of the following:


1. You (or someone on your behalf) can come to the American Citizen Services Section to pick the passport(s) up between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m., Sunday through Wednesday (except the official American and Egyptian holidays). You must provide your old passport(s) and the receipt.

Or

2. Send us your old passport(s) through any of the DHL offices. After receiving your old passport, we will cancel it and send it back to you along with you new passport. If you are a first time applicant or if this is a replacement passport, you must send a letter through DHL stating this along with your receipt. Your new passport will be returned to you.

We will contact applicants if passports are delayed.
