The American Center Alexandria (ACA), organizes a full range of activities, including lectures, workshops, exhibits and cultural offerings. Our staff provides public affairs support to all Mission activities in Alexandria.
The ACA library has been transformed into an Information Resource Center. Regular Internet training sessions are held to promote information technology and develop research skills.
AMIDEAST’s student advising center on U.S. colleges and universities and its English Teaching Program share the ACA premises.
Education USA Center offers briefings on U.S. educational programs. During the following sessions, the advisor will discuss how to apply to U.S. professional schools.
A U.S. Consul is available at The American Center in Alexandria the last Sunday of each month to provide American Citizen Services such as passport applications, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, voting assistance and other routine service inquiries for the American community in Alexandria.
